Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what personal data SilkPath (silkpath.org) collects, why, and what rights you have. SilkPath, operated by Antoine — hello@silkpath.org. Write to this address for any question about your data.

1. Newsletter

When you subscribe, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your first name. We use them only to send the SilkPath newsletter (one email a week, plus a welcome email). We process this data on the basis of your consent.

Emails are sent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which stores the subscriber list on our behalf. Every email contains an unsubscribe link; you can also ask us to delete your data at any time. We keep your data until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion.

2. Contact form

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address and message, only to reply to you. The message is delivered to our mailbox through Brevo, and a copy is kept in the website’s private administration area for up to 12 months, then deleted automatically. We process this data to answer your request (legitimate interest).

3. Analytics and cookies

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google) to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and whether a newsletter sign-up succeeded. Google Analytics uses cookies, so it only loads if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. We do not use this data to identify you personally, and we do not sell it.

4. Hosting and security

The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web server, it records technical logs (such as IP address, date and page requested) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept for a limited time.

5. International data transfers

Some of our providers process data outside your country. Brevo stores subscriber data in the European Union (France). Google may process analytics data in the United States, under safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

6. Job listings and external links

Job listings link to third-party websites (for example LinkedIn or the employer’s own site). When you click “Apply”, their own privacy policies apply. We do not share your data with employers.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or receive a copy of it. Write to hello@silkpath.org and we will reply within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

8. Children

SilkPath is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
